WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!
For some of us, if we were to walk into this classroom and see students gesturing wildly, standing up, walking around their chairs and mimicking the teacher, we might think there was a problem with class control. But for many classrooms, it is the exact opposite. These…

Last month, our Forum site lit up for a several days with discussion over the challenge of using INTERACT materials in a small classroom. Teacher’s Center member Michael Hutchison started the conversation with a query about using the Government Activators II unit entitled “Campaigns, Elections, and Political Parties” in his small class of ten students. The…

It’s now January, and teachers are looking toward the second half of the school year. The election is over, the president has been reelected, and Congress hasn’t changed much in political composition, partisanship, or in the opinion of the American public.
On January 21, 2013, Barack Obama will be sworn in as president for a second term and will deliver his second inaugural address. In…

I posted a question on the forum but maybe you can help me. I read in my "See the USA" lesson book, I read that there was a list of state websites on Teacher Interact. Do you know where this is?
I am having difficulty understanding the directions in Interact "Discovery" Unit. I have had to make modifications because my students are pulled in small groups. We have sailed and landed in the New World, but I'm not really sure what to do now. I have read and reread the directions...please help.
Good afternoon,
I am just finishing up my first year teaching G&T in Rutherford, NJ. I used your See the USA simulation this year and really enjoyed it. I'd like to incorporate the Challenge Math Projects simulation next year. I have one small issue. I found the folder from the last teacher, but apparently it is only the copies for the students. It looks like it may be missing teacher directions. I've scoured my class room but I can't seem to find the original binder. I don't think we have money in the budget to replace the whole thing. Would it be possible to get the teacher's portion of this simulation? I thought I could wing it, but looking at the bookshelf challenge from the sample, I noticed that there is info I would definitely need! I am purchasing another simulation (Galaxy) from your company next year, and we already have the See the USA, Poetry, House Building and Challenge Math simulations... so we are obviously committed to your products! Thanks!!!
Thanks for the kind welcome Greg. I'm glad to be part of this forum and look forward to learning more from the other teachers here. I'm also happy to share my experiences with Interact products.
Thank you so much, Mr. Timmons, for the prize from Interact. I really appreciate the acknowledgement.
