Suggestions for simulations to use to teach World Cultures and Geography.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a simulation for me to use with my 6th grade World Cultures and Geography classes?

When I taught 6th grade, I used the Egyptian and China units. What world cultures do you teach? Do you teach present day cultures or ancient? There are many wonderful activities to use with both of those units that relate to past and present. I am teaching Ancient European cultures and use the Christendom unit to teach about the Crusades. I plan to use some other units this coming year. Looking forward to hearing more from you. = )
